    Let's delve into the story...

The term "BOHO" finds its roots in "Bohemian" or "Boho-Chic," epitomizing an unconventional, artistic approach to various facets of life, including food, fashion, and design. This style embraces an eclectic mix of global-inspired organic elements, materials, and textures, emphasizing individuality, creativity, and a free-spirited outlook on life.

    Introducing BOHO Chocolate...

BOHO Chocolate, a bean-to-bar artisanal chocolate maker located in Florence, Massachusetts, USA, is dedicated to the craft of producing exceptional chocolate. They specialize in using organic cacao beans sourced directly from farmers and small cooperatives in South America and Madagascar. In addition to these valuable relationships, BOHO Chocolate has established connections with Uncommon Cacao, Gino Dalla Gasperina of Meridian Cacao, and Daniel O'Doherty of Cacao Services in Honolulu, Hawaii.

BOHO Chocolate upholds ethical business practices, focusing on social, economic, and environmental sustainability. All their chocolate is organic and made from scratch using traditional methods that prioritize flavor and quality. In 2021, they earned organic certification from the USDA. Their extensive range of chocolate offers over twenty-five unique flavor profiles.

The BOHO Chocolate brand exudes a bohemian-inspired aesthetic in its packaging, marketing, and design, echoing their commitment to simplicity, creativity, and individuality.

    The Beginning...

The BOHO Chocolate journey commenced with founder Charles Burke, who began his chocolate venture by selling chocolates and confections from a small New England shop over twenty-five years ago. Driven by a deep desire to craft his own chocolate, Charles was captivated by the bean-to-bar manufacturing process. With no prior experience, he embarked on an adventure, booking a flight to South America with a friend. There, they joined forces with TAZA Chocolate and visited farmers, cooperatives, and local chocolate makers, leading to his love affair with chocolate making and the birth of BOHO Chocolate.

Keep in a cool, dry place, away from direct light and strong odors. Store at maximum
    18 ° C in its original packaging

Our chocolate makers proudly refrain from using any artificial stabilizers or preservatives in their products, making their creations more temperature-sensitive compared to other premium chocolates.

To ensure the optimal taste experience, it's advisable to store our chocolates in a cool, dry place where the temperature hovers between 16°C and 18°C. Please refrain from refrigerating our chocolates, as this may cause sugar crystallization due to increased humidity, altering their texture and flavor.

On the contrary, if stored in excessively high temperatures, cocoa butter may separate and form a white film on the chocolate's surface. This loss of cocoa butter can lead to the chocolate drying out and, consequently, a potential alteration in flavor. Your mindful storage practices will help preserve the integrity of our delectable chocolates.
