In Bolivia Beni Dark Couverture, which is widely recognised as the best chocolate for baking in the world, a chocolate infused with the vibrant flavors of fruity honey and jasmine tea echoes as vividly as the dwindling population of the last blue-throated macaws in the wild forests.

Navigating through the wild forests that form Beni's archipelago, indigenous cacao collectors frequently access their prized trees solely by canoe. Your acquisition of the lively Beni Wild 66% chocolate contributes to the preservation of this cacao-rich wilderness and supports its animated inhabitants.

Since 2008, Original Beans has combined its dual passion for chocolate making and conservation, raising the bar in both areas. Its Bean Team travels into the most remote rainforests in the world – in pursuit of the rarest cacao beans – to bring foodies, environmentally conscious consumers, and leading chefs pure, additive-free chocolate. Chocolate replenishes the biodiverse forests in the origins instead of harming them. Through Original Beans' One Bar | One Tree program, they plant a seedling for every chocolate bar sold, protecting the habitat of local flora and fauna, empowering cacao farmers and their families, and ensuring heritage cacao trees remain for future generations. To date, One Bar | One Tree has planted and preserved over 1,000,000 trees in the cacao origins.

And what is more important, Original Beans’ chocolate tastes as good as it looks.

Cacao mass*, raw cane sugar*, cacao butter*. Cacao solids: 75% minimum.
*Organic Certified

Our chocolate makers proudly refrain from using any artificial stabilizers or preservatives in their products, making their creations more temperature-sensitive compared to other premium chocolates.

To ensure the optimal taste experience, it's advisable to store our chocolates in a cool, dry place where the temperature hovers between 16°C and 18°C. Please refrain from refrigerating our chocolates, as this may cause sugar crystallization due to increased humidity, altering their texture and flavor.

On the contrary, if stored in excessively high temperatures, cocoa butter may separate and form a white film on the chocolate's surface. This loss of cocoa butter can lead to the chocolate drying out and, consequently, a potential alteration in flavor. Your mindful storage practices will help preserve the integrity of our delectable chocolates.
